There's showers in the ACO grandstand (which is accessible with a membership card).
The food in the stand is the same as you get elsewhere but at a slight discount.
I think you will struggle to get in to the ACO stand without pukka tickets though....been sitting in there for years and never noticed the showers either; are they in the toilets generally? The food in the stand is the same as you get elsewhere but at a slight discount.
Showers are on the ground floor to the left of the entrance, down the corridor where the gents are at the end.
You used to be able to get into the 'backstage' area of the stand with just a membership card (which is why there is a second set of ticket checking to get into the seating area from the refreshment area.) but I've not tried it for a few years as I've had 'proper' stand tickets.

I can confirm from my own experience that to get any access to the ACO stands, including the loos and showers, on arrival you must either show your ACO membership card or a ticket for a reserved seat in the grandstand.
This year I will be using my ACO card to get to the loos, showers, and the bar but as I do not have a ticket for seats in their grandstand (I'm in La Sarthe, a better viewing spot IMHO), I won't be able to see anything of the race etc from the ACO grandstand.
By the way, does anyone know if the ACO are having the members only facility on the track inside after Dunlop bridge? I cannot find anything out about a repeat for 2011.

My wife & I are 1st timers. If I was to become a member, would I be able to take her into the enclosure, or will a supplement need to be paid. If so, how much, and does a one off payment last the whole race, so we can go in & out when we want
Thanks
Jim
You will get in for free as a member, but then have to pay a further E15 for the wife. You can take up to three guests in. Thanks
Jim
I agree with the leaper most of the time, but imho the ACO is the best grandstand to watch from, even without an aco membership, the grandstand ticket is only a few quid more than other grandstands. The toilets are very clean, all the time, you get a great view of the pits and tv screen, and there is a bar and food stand directly below where you are sat. For me, its the ACO everytime from now, but sadly not this year, ive gotta stay here and work the weekend
