Hi guys

I'm a touched confused with how many million variants their seem to be. However, I have an old (1991) LR Defender 90 which has a knackered stereo. The defender itself has a "single stack" connector which is fairly large (8 or 10 pins in it). this is how I could best describe it. It is a male adapter.

I have a goodmans stereo which has a similar style connector, but it is significantly smaller. The stereo end is femal so requires a male input.

So, how the hell does one go about finding this "large to small, female to male" type plug. Appreciate it's rediculously vague, but I'm sure one of you will know!!

You want a "1991 LR to ISO harness". Try ebay etc.

If all else fails, go on ebay and just buy an iso lead with wire ends and wire this directly to the factory wiring. You'll then have a modern ISO plug that will fit aftermarket stereos.

How disappointing. I was expecting a thread about these beauties.
