Mk1 4.0 range

Not done any great distance in the Tuscan yet and thinking of using it when we are away in July . So wondering what is a realistic range to a full tank for a 4.0 mk1 on a steady motorway run?

50l in the tank and about 25mpg (safe side) give a range of about 300 miles, I would be filling up at 250 though with super unleaded.

Yep around 250 is about right, it's roughly what I get on the run to Le Mans which is a mixture of motorway and B roads but can see some spirited driving at times!

220-250 normally, maybe 300 if driven gently!

Cheers all, about the same as I got from the chim then. That varied from 140 to mid 200s usually and up to 350 once on very steady run.

Recently did Lincoln to Askrigg in the Yorkste Dales. Round trip 270 miles,of which 160 ish on the AI.

Returned 28mpg.

Big difference from the 19-20mpg I was used to with the Chimaera 4.0L

There was something wrong with your Chimaera, mine regularly returned 30mpg
