tyres again!!

After help from you guys decided to purchase bridgestone re050 tyres to replace s03. Went to order and now being told re050 now not made.
Bridgestone replacement is now s001. Apperently side wall is stronger. Has anybody tried these or can see any problem with the side wall being stronger.
Also I have re050 on front, thought s03 were original fit to the 3r. Car has done 12000 miles, 4000 by me. Would these be the originals?

On my exige and they were great! Any1 used them on nobs??

A few of us have run A048's. Very good in the dry and good in the damp.Not the best in standing water. Better on track than the 888's and last a bit longer IMO.

I was runnng 048's on my car... have taken them off and put my old standard Bridgestones on to go to lemans and what a difference.... the 048's had no traction issues at all and only wheelspan briefly if i was way too heavy with the right foot but very quickly regained grip.

The Bridgestones light up whenever I give it a bootfull... even if i'm going 80+ mph.

Its so bad Im considering putting the 048's back on and accepting I will need to spend a fortune on replacing them regularly! its really made me appreciate how fantastic the 048's are.

Hi guys I have metioned before but now there is a very ltd choice of tyre for us it makes sence to look at the Mich pilot cup sports, they are exspensive but boy do they give grip, I was getting no wheels spin when they were hot running alot of bhp it just took off the best road tyre out there in the dry and on track imo so will be puting them back on my car again when it come back.

As mentioned on another thread. Fedral RSR's are what I'm going to put on my summer wheels. Good feedback and not expensive.

I've got 888's for track and bridgestones for the road , the 888's are terrible on the road and wreck the ride quality !!! Could nit wait to get them off !!

been in steve and grants on road both running 888's and they had fine ride... recon you just needed to back off the suspension a bit to accomodate the stiffer sidewalls?

My Bridgestones S02A cant take torque my car has now... car handles fine just does huge burnouts in almost any gear
