You timed it well with the weather (It's been pants up here since).
You were standing about 100 metres from my house when you took pic 18 (I'm almost directly below)
I did keep looking out for your Caterham and the Aston, thought you were in Torridon though. You were standing about 100 metres from my house when you took pic 18 (I'm almost directly below)
Andy I used the cheaper alternative, B+W ND110

Sold the Aston... still have Caterham. Sorry to miss you. Actually Torridon is the area (there is no Torridon village), so I'm both in Shieldaig and Torridon - like Fulham and London (If you see what I mean). Some great images there. Right time of year!Andy I used the cheaper alternative, B+W ND110
Ah right cheers for clearing that up. I can't help but feel when I go back next it wont be as good as the time I've had there last month. The weather, empty roads, warmth, it all came together so incredibly well. You certainly live in one of the most beautiful places of the UK if not the Earth!

You don't know how lucky you were!
You lucky lucky sod. I was up there from the 14th to the 31st. Rained every flippin' day
23rd was particularly not fun. Anyone following the weather may have noticed we had a wee blow on. Not funny watching mature elms toppling in the wind.
The really annoying thing is May is usually nice. I've been up and down the west coast every May for the last 30 years and this is the worst I've known it. Cest la vie.

I was up there this week, had gorgeous weather until Saturday.

Give it another twist why don't you...

Sorry. If it's any consolation this was the sort of weather I saw the same time last year.
