Don't you just love V10's?

I saw a very old (2004!) episode of topgear earlier, it had the carrera GT on it. Absolutely hammering it down the track it sounded awesome, but there is just no other sound like it with a V10

Does anybody else think that RS6 sounds better on standard pipes? There seems to be too much induction noise with the millteks and it interferes with the engine note.

Never been in one, heard a few, the viper engined dodge rams sound awesome. Was at Duxford when a Porsche Carrera GT rolled in. At first I thought it was thunder.

It's surprising, a lot of the R8 gang reckon the V8 sound better than the V10... I don't think so
I set a 100MPH speed warning in mine (just to remind me I'm in ban territory so eyes wide open!) but can't hear it above the spine tingling yowl

S8 and the viper for me, although the straight-thru carrera GT pushes my buttons for sheer loudness!
