For what though??
Can't see you enjoying the cayenne long term, though for long journeys i am sure its impressive everywhere other than the petrol pump.

Woudl you move onto the 997, or the 987. I think the 997 official pics that are circulating (and the desktop of the laptop) are

I have fallen in love with the carrera s, on those 19" wheels are just gorgeous

Unfortunately funds are very short, so dream on is the best way of looking at it....

So come on then H, what you looking at ?

One of the problems is what compares - that's why I ended up buying my S - the same but better.
Cheers,
Mike..

Helen, just get the RMS done again, and you can get on enjoying the one you've got.

Remember 996's are also showing RMS failures, so whilst the 996 Turbo will no doubt be huge fun, you will still have the disappointment of the oil stain on the garage floor one morning .

It's not oil, it was not the car and anyway the kids were out...I can't believe I've just said that

anyway it's all your fault. H's been unsettled since you've shown her that picture of the Carrera Gt being towed by Larry....

Helen,

Noticed you have a Janspeed exhaust on the boxster, did you have this fitted from new or after a period of ownership. If it was the latter was there much noticable difference in sound/responce etc... I've been looking at some systems bt FVD and was just wondering how your system compared...?

i had the Janspeed exhaust and gt3 body kit fitted last year by jasmine motorsport, huge diffrence in sound quality from the standard 2.7 porsche exhaust system. it now sound like a sports car and not a oversize hairdryer.

muscles, bear in mind the facelift 2.7 has a more 'tuned' exhaust note anyway (just in case this applies 2 U)
