Latchmere Motors Battersea is closed

This might not get much interest but I noticed just the other day that my local parts store has closed down.

It was a little independent store on Latchmere Rd, Battersea (London) run by two guys and a tortoise-shell cat. They always gave good service and would get anything in at good prices, was trusted by the locals and seemed to do a good trade. Some nice cars would drop in too; I once saw a guy with a DB2 and the bonnet up picking up some bits and pieces.

I've no idea why they had to close but it's a shame to see a good independent store close up shop.

If the two proprietors are out there, thanks for the great service over the years!
