Space savers & M-sport breaks
Discussion
I'm planning on changing my tyres from run-flats to normal tyres so am planning on getting a space saver tyre/wheel off an E46 there seems to be 2 sizes 16" & 17".
I have a E91 330d M-sport with 18" rims and huge breaks on the front, question is do i need the 17" ones or will the 16" be OK???
Thanks..

Because there is less than 1/2" between the caliper and the 18" wheel!
Hence if i try and fit 17" rims they will foul calipers unless the 17" wheels have a different rim design to the 18"'s?

No such thing, just big sliding caliper on them. 330d is available with 17's from the factory so that should be fine.

Do you know what the gap between your 18" wheels and the calipers?
Also, what are the wheels/tyres your running? I have been thinking about getting some winter tyres while there still cheap & available!!!
no idea what the gap is or what the wheels are, bought them 18 months ago from a tyre/wheel fitters. Also, what are the wheels/tyres your running? I have been thinking about getting some winter tyres while there still cheap & available!!!
