Rear indicator - again!

Hi all - I started a thread on this a while back but for the life of me can't find it so here's take two!

A while ago I reported a problem whereby my drivers side rear indicator had stopped working (though the bulb is fine when used on the other side) and was advised to wiggle some wires to try to solve the problem. Apologies to the poster but can you resend the loction of the wires please! I've been away for a while so am only now getting to try this fix!

Ok, so of course I found the thread almost immediately after hitting post!

Being a complete Newbie, can you be more specific as to where I find the door solenoids please? Do you mean the mess of wires I find when I pull open the flap in the passenger foot well where the battery is?

Nope, not that one. Fold the passenger seat forwards, then you'll find a flap immediately below the bolt that holds the hood on (bottom corner of the hood, right by the door). HTH

Yup and while you pull the plugs apart give the terminals a rub with scotchbrite or similar

As all the other guys have said pull out the wires make sure they are all clean and properly fitted, and you will find that it will fix your problem.
