Learning to play the sax..

Thanks to the wonders of fleabay, I am now the proud owner of a sax.. However, it's trickier than it looks. Can anyone reccomend some beginners sax books / tinterweb videos or whatnot?

Total music novice, so don't know how to read music etc.

If you're a total novice then to be honest you would be best off getting some lessons so you don't get into bad habits. Tutor books can only get you so far. Have no knowledge of sax-specific books, but Accent On Achievement & Abracadabra are both pretty good series.
