Are the sill drain holes the things next to the front jacking point that have a nut on them?

Also its time to replace my mix of cheap tyres with barely any tread. I had surprise oversteer at 25mph following traffic! How much should I expect to pay per tyre for fitting? First local garage I tried wanted £16 per tyre - sounds a lot to me?

I'll most likely go for T1-Rs as that is what everyone seems to recommend but what are the other good alternatives? The garage I called recommended Vredestein Sportrac 3s but then he appears to be a Vredestein supplier!

Any tips for cleaning the exhaust? I've tried Autosol and various other polishes and cleaners with coarse wire wool but there is one patch of rust about the size of a five pound note I just can't shift? I'm certain that it's shiny underneath though.

What size wheels/tyres?

Re the exhaust tip, I just used wire wool finished with Autosol. It's only plated so if rusty the chrome finish will already be gone.

Tyres - I bought Toyos from Camskill for £35 plus p&p, £16 for fitting sounds about right.
Sill plugs - I wanna know too.....

Stick with T1R and you won't go wrong. £16 per tyre sounds a lot to me though - I bought mine from Camskill and a local garage fitted them for £20 for all 4! Shop around and avoid the chains, independent will always be cheaper and will most likely do a better job.
