Senna 'Movie' cinema showings?
Discussion
Wow, ive been looking forward to watching this for such a long time and now it appears nowhere within hours of driving is showing it !!
I was counting on Cineworld / Showcase or Odeon cinemas to come up trumps but I'm hugely dissapointed in this.
Anybody else experiencing the same problem?
After the media attention and high rating it's getting i'm a little amazed really.

I'm surprised at the publicity it's been getting actually as it's a bit of a niche topic. The website is a bit crap though, as I also went there looking for cinemas and there's sod all information on it.
Showcase don't seem to be running it but it seems many cinemas closer to Nottingham city centre are, so I'd guess that'll be the same elsewhere.

The thing is, it's not presented in a particularly niche way. It almost plays out like a feature film rather than a documentary - it's the human story that takes centre stage, not the oily bits. You don't have to be a die-hard petrolhead to appreciate it.Highly recommend it. It'll give you goosebumps.
Thankfully the independent cinema in Southampton is doing 4 showings a day for a week from tomorrow. None of the multiplexes are showing it at all, which as has been said, is surprising considering the coverage the film is getting.
Never mind, the indie cinema is nice and you can take booze into the screen which is will no doubt improve the experience even further

According to Chris Evans this monring only about 65 are showing it this week (even though 3rd June is the offical release date), another 250 are showing from next Friday. I think even more are adding it on the 21st. Odeon say they are showing it Nationwide so if you have one local you should be able to see it soon

Even our little cinema in loughborough is showing it. I didn't expect that
ETA: I had to go to 'coming soon' to find it, there are no times up for it at the moment so other cinemas might also be doing the same if you can't seem to find it.
Oh, is it really? Happy days

I might still blast over to the Showcase de Luxe in Leicester to do it justice, mind
