After the last bore-fest, urm I mean race, i said I wasnt going to bother.

But with a Reno on pole, the other in 3rd and a BAR splitting them, I think I might be suckered into watching it.

GO TRULLI
GO ALONSO
GO RENAULT!!!!!!

and if that fails

GO BUTTON

Both the fezzas will stay out longer than the renaults and be very quick while the renaults/BAR go for the pits. After the usual shorter pit stops the fezzas will be out front and Barrichello will baulk the field while Shuey puts on 2-3 secs a lap out the front. Button takes advantage of one of Barrichello's famous 15 second tyre changes and edges through to take second.

I'm just hoping that Button somehow manages to stay ahead of Alonso at the start. Then Trulli and Button can put the hammer down whilst Alonso has to deal with Shumachers attentions from behind thus slowing him up.

Trulli and Button pit on the 9th lap (boring) but by then Schumachers 10 secs behind and can't make it up in the first pitstops...

Button gets ahead of Trulli in the pits and goes on to win, whilst Shumacher leapfrogs one Renault per stop to finish second.

Heres hoping anyway...

I'm not entirely sure why Monaco is still on the F1 calendar when places like Silverstone are in jeapordy. There is no overtaking, pretty much boring racing and little action. Oh, hangon, I do know. Money

Did anyone else see MM on the show yesterday and just think how he was a money grabbing so-and-so with no care for the sport?

Moncao has been on the Calender since the start, it is the ultimate driver challenge, I for one, would be sad to see it go, as my children would not be able to see the specticle of drivers racing their cars at 180mph round closed streets on the brink of an accident.

I for one, think wanting to remove it is an UTTERLY selfish viewpoint.

I want to see racing, I want to see the chance for overtaking, I want to see an interesting specatacle not just a parade around the streets with the chance of an accident (I don't watch to see someone potentially get badly hurt). I don't want to see a parade around streets (pretty as it is) where the only overtaking is done in the pit lane.

It shows why F1 is going downhill IMO, if Max Mosely looked around to make the sport better rather than looked as to where he could get the most money we might stand a chance of a more interesting series. (I stand by my opinion that MM wants to make the race more popular so that he can get more money although appreciate others will disagree)

There has never been overtaking round Monaco, its the ultimate drivers challenge however.

THAT is the point of it.

If you dont like it, off and watch something else.

I quite agree. Stunning start by Sato, big crash but everyone ok, now a restart

Love the footage looking behind at the cars, looks well scary

you see thats all that makes a race around monte carlo interesting... crashing.

I admit Micahel Schumacher is making things marginally more interesting but it's still a parade (bar Montoya's impressive slide up the inside of Schumie and Sato's start). When there are so many better tracks available IMO.

Oh and pwig, don't get so het-up about things. I like F1 just think that Monte Carlo is a bit boring...

eletrra, this is the 2nd time I've read your post regarding your accident, may I suggest you actually create your own thread rather than trying to hi-jack other topics...

You'd be best looking in the Speeding Plod and Law forum

YES you are f*****d... now GO AWAY and quit posting crap stuff thats irrelevant to the thread.
Basically every post you have made is the same. Ask the question on the proper thread and WAIT for an answer instead of acting a muppet and alienating yourself
