Good day for spotting eh!?
The exhausts are also a Clive Reed (Zertec) special -- mine was the trial Chimaera for the new design. Straight-through cherry-bomb silencers (though the cats remain) mean a MUCH nicer burbly noise...
Sorry I missed the wave -- concentrating on keeping ahead of the pillocks who kept wanting to park in the boot

It certainly sounds the part Manek, deep burble do you know how it compares with the 'standard' sports exhaust? I drove a 4.0 Chimaera with one at Fernies and honestly don't think I could live with it day-to-day.
As for cars parking in the back
I'm toying with taking the badge off mine as I seem to get this a lot, the worry is it's mostly old biddies and they lean over the wheel too and you can see them mouthing what they think it says!
Or I could get sticky letters and put them on the rear screen...
"CHIMAERA - TVR - VERY FAST - NO BACK OFF KNOB JOCKEY!"

Thanks for the comment! Your standard sports exhaust which usually involves removing the baffles in the silencer and leaving the standard pipes in place. The stainless steel Zertec system adds shiny rolled-end twin pipes which I think look the dogs. Though someone said recently that it made the car look like a wheelbarrow from the back.

The noise is liveable with but I wouldn't want it any noisier. On a really long motorway trip (3 hours+) it can get a bit wearing so if it starts getting to me I just turn up the CD player...
I picked up a tip from someone here: let a gap develop in front, then zap forwards to fill it, leaivng the boot jockey behind. Do that a few times and they usually get the message. Though there was one Beamer driver on the A23 yesterday who seemed too stupid to figure it out
