I've got a bit of a problem here. I've been away from the house for a few days and the car has been sitting idle for a bit over a week now. I went to start the car today just to avoid leaving it idle.

It started anyway, but didn't sound healthy.. Very rough idle with quite a bit of vibration coming through the car. It struggles for a bit, then dies out. Gradually it got worse and worse until now it wont really pick up to idle anymore.

It's sitting with very little fuel in it, so on an off chance I'm going to pop up and see if fresh petrol will do it any favours.

Any ideas as to what might be the issue?

ETA: The car is a 1992 1.6 Eunos

I gave it another few turns and eventually it fired up again, and now it seems to be running nicely.

It's going in tomorrow to get a good once over too.

Throttle position sensor? Would explain why it runs a bit and then drops...

1.6 eunos won't have a tps as such, just a WOT switch (unless auto)
