You better be quick, if you really want to have a Whiteley Village meet.

It's going to be closed up by the end of June. Although the Tesco parking and sports complex will remain open.

I am in Whiteley, as is normalbloke and Pete - probably a few others too.

Why is whiteley closing down?, not tha I go there very often, probably answered my own question there didn't I lol.

They definitely slipped up - Fareham is so near you just go there or Southampton for proper shops. And shortly after Whiteley opened ~10 years ago, the plans for Gunwhalf surfaced and literally blew Whiteley Village 'out of the water'

I hope they can create an air of cosmopolitan living. After dark it's like a ghost town down there.

I think just about anything would be better.... Cinema would be good too. There is certainly enough residents to keep it busy, it's if they can get the right trades etc interested in being there
