I have purchased one of these and a Honeywell remote thermostat (well the builder did, so unsure of the model number). Should a receiver module have also been purchased ? I am struggling to understand how the two talk to each other.

Thanks

If the thermostat is wireless it should have a receiver with it.

...then it's just a matter of removing the link between 7 & 8 on X9 and wiring a volt free switch across these terminals.

Hmmm...legally, I suppose, but very straightforward.

Fixed, they had wired in the central heating thermostat receiver into the wall instead of the underfloor heating stat. A quick switch over and the receiver unit is now plugged into the boiler ready to rock and roll.

Great boiler by the way. I don't know why more people don't use them. Just had our first year service done on ours and it was so clean inside it was like new.

Our plumber uses them on every job. We've used most makes over the years, but Remeha are streets ahead.

Gas boilers are pretty clean inside to be honest, especially after only a year. Oil boilers, now they're a different story.
