On the 24th July a group of us from Aberdeen (some from Dundee, but mainly work in Aberdeen) are going to Crail for a bit of fun....1/4 mile thrash and then the Crail Time Attack challenge. Currently about 25 have shown an interest so far (Porsche's, TVR's, Audi s'#s and Rs's, Bm's, Ford RS's etc) but the more the merrier (especially the more powerfull cars).......if you are interested in joining us send me a PM.

We did this back in March...25+ cars with top honours going to a 997 GT3, followed by a Scooby, TVR Sagaris, Ferrari 599, 996 Turbo and TVR Cerbera.....good fun had by all (apart from the M5 that lost it's clutch!!)

Have run against a couple of current GTR's in the Noble (and always lost!) but would be interested to give the remapped porker (505bhp) a go against a GTR...so bring it on.

but the porker is 1540kg and all the power comes post 3500rpm!.....if it was a 1/2 mile there would be no comp, but over a 1/4 it would be interesting i think.

I'll drop you a PM when I find out about end of college (next week hopefully) It's either going to be the Saab with a stage 1 map or the Astra stripped out with some light engine mods.

Sounds fun - as long as Crail have invested some money on their strip within the last few years!

I might be missing out on TOTB this year so I'll need to be taking the newly fettled Viper up the quarter to see if the money has been well spent!

Not going to be on a normal ned day there though, is it?

That is correct.

Same idea as the Ford days, only its for Seat. Gonna be some demos there, tuning companies etc too.

Theres 80 odd names/cars down attending from seatcupra.net off the top of my head and I believe its open to other VAG cars too.

Hmmm...went along to the Banzai day this weekend and although the flier still says the 24th is a "normal" day they did confirm the 24th is now the Seat day!!!....might be having a rethink!
