Redirection - odd behaviour??

I place a clean link in a post, and when I tested it by clicking on it, I was redirected thus:

http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;206385018;28848580;p...

Since when do PH send referrals through doubleclick.net ???

If I copy the URL from the post I get this:

http://go.redirectingat.com/?id=1044X509854&site=pistonheads.com&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fstatus-cable.virginmedia.com%2F&sref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pistonheads.com%2Fgassing%2Ftopic.asp%3Fh%3D0%26f%3D95%26t%3D1011326%26i%3D999999%26nmt%3DOMG%2520-%25201st%2520Mac%2520issue%2520in%25204%2520years!!!%2520%2520-%2520%2520%2520Help

Just to be sure, I tested this in two different browsers BTW. (Safari and Opera)

And I'm running on OSX if that has any relevance to you.

For reference, I've just clicked the link on my machine and experienced the same re-direct, so it's not a local issue..

It's probably part of the affiliate scheme that is running. I just tried the links and they all work fine for me.

We pass any clean links through an affiliate scheme which attaches any affiliate code to the link if it can find any. That's what the "redirectingat" link is about. We've been doing this for nearly two years.

It's lightening quick in most cases, but you may have noticed it if your connection is a little slow, or if you were browsing from the main site on a mobile.
