Ask for Jim Biggam - V10 twin turbo RS6 driver and serial petrolhead - fair prices for good work.

http://www.gordoncooleycoachbuilders.co.uk/ - Thornliebank, so just off the 77 if you're heading up from Ayrshire.

Ask to speak to Gemma Cooley and tell her Steven Hepburn recommended them.

Recommendation from here as well though I think he's got a Mustang just now. A straight talking, likeable guy as well.

Simons in Irvine are very good mate and the prices are very good as well.

Simon's Accident Repair Centre

(01294) 222966
18 Whittle Place, South Newmoor Industrial Estate, Irvine, KA11 4HR

They have done a fair bit of work for me over the years on my TVR's and fixing my GF wee mini's back bumper soon as well.

They did a terrible job of blending the paint of the rear quarter of my old c-class 3yrs back.

ETA I hope my comment isn't taken as 'naming & shaming', I used AC Taylor purely on the reccomendation of 1 PH-er (can't remember who as I don't know him) and was so disappointed with the finished paintwork that I couldn't live with the car and got rid of for that very reason - its only fair to give positive and negative feedback!

Good guy, fantastic work/attention to detail.

I bought a MG ZT 260 off him a couple of years back - and seen examples of his work, highly regarded on SIDC too.

I would have no hesitation in commending and recomending McLarens body shop in Kirkintilloch. Contact the owner Michael on 01417751286. They have done paint for me on a large variety of vehicles for over 10 years and I absolutely could not fault the work/price or service. Great family business and also sponsors and suppliers to several motorsport competitors in Scotland.
For alloy wheel repairs/cosmetic repairs/leather/plastics/bumper scuffs John Hardie in MARYHILL 07868 863 305 is really excellent plus he offers a mobile service and does work for Taggarts and the like.
