Hello chaps,
Has anyone tried or thought about trying a wing on the back of the beast?
I'm wondering if this may improve back end handling???

Reason being I managed to get my hands on a wing from a speed 12.

No point on a road car. The speed 12 wing would be way to wide for a road car anyway.

What did you want to achieve? If you fit a read wing you will also need to sort the front airflow out as you would have almost 0 front end grip at speed.

It might be handy for push starts or picnics. Or maybe put it on the front and clear the roads of snow?
Do you have a cerbera?
The wing will be too big and far too naff. It wont do anything for the handling etc... You will have to cut the boot and find a way to mount it to the chassis? I cant see the boot taking the weight.

If its anything like the reliability my cerb then the wing would be used most of the time!!

I think the overall shape of the cerb is lovely & plonking a wing on it would just spoil the lines,but it would make it individual if you like that sort of thing.

Mine was ok up to 190 indicated at Bruntingthorpe without a rear wing. I guess one might be needed after that

and here's me taking two years to decide if to fit a tiny dab aerial

will have no major effect with speeds under 100mph wouldn't want to corner many UK roads at that sort of speed

Thanks for the input, I'll go down the better spring route and stick the wing on my toilet cistern!

I am doing the light upgrade but I've seen some with Tuscan seats, they look far more comfortable than the standard, is this the case?

I am led to believe that the earlier cerbera seats are more comfortable than the later tuscan style ones,even though the early ones look dated.

Must admit i like the way the newer ones have a cerbera badge or tuscan badge on the back of them,think the side bolsters cave in quite easy on the later style aswell.

I will have to stick to my old fashioned ones,they go well with my retro wood look for the speedo & rev counter!!

There was a pic of a Cerb with a rear spoiler on here fairly recently, and it looked totally hideous.

Just my point of view.

Well if it's a real speed 12 wing then I'd put it on the wall.
Alternatively there's someone putting together a speed 12 and may want an original wing

I have been told the early seats are more comfortable. The Tuscan style seats look very pretty indeed, but I also like the "originals", especially with the TVR stitching...

As for the wing, it would make a cool desk in the garage?
