Finally, I'm halfway thru wipeout and Infamous is queued up.

haven't signed up to free ps+ yet as ill wait till I'm stuck well into these games to make the most of the 30 free days.

next step is psp.

This is true, I got the errors but just kept exiting then retrying and now I'm downloading two games as I type!

I already have Wipeout and traded in LBP and now have LBP2. Didn't think much of Infamous from the demo so don't really know what to go for.

Definitely having Modnation Racers on the PSP when I get it working though.

ETA: Since there are only 2 other games aside the ones I have/don't want I guess it's Ratchet & Clank and Dead Nation

Try this:
1. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
3. Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
4. Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content

Good call....

I mananged to get through to download the first game through the normal Playstation Store way but then the other games dispaappeared. Thanks to your method I have managed to queue up my second game too.


So is Playstation + worth it? What do you actually get apart from a few games for 30 days free?

Are there any other free services worth taking advantage off?

You can download 3 games from a list of 5, but only get to use them for 30 days?

You have 30 days to download the games and keep them?

Nope. you get to keep on your hard drive 2 of 5 games. And, anything you get from ps+ you get to keep aslong as you stay subscribed to ps+ (30 days min).

Just goto the Playstation store now. Big banner. "Purchase" the welcome back pack then choose your games. Happy days LBP and Wipeout for me.

I actually got plus downloaded on the first try, but couldn't figure out what it was about, didn't realise I could get games with it.

Got a new hard drive in the PS3 yesterday, and the store is up and running so I've just set it to download Dead Nation and Infamous. I've already got Wipeout HD so I'd only be getting half a freebie with Fury. Also set the PSP to download LittleBigPlanet and Modnation Racers . Over 10GB of download data and I'm still considering PS+ with freebie Burnout Paradise .
