What am I looking out for, for your wheels?
Nice car, is that an aftermarket exhaust I spot? I regularly park up next a regular ST, and it sounds pretty flat when starting, on revs and pulling away - I think STs are cars that really benefit greatly from a good aftermarket exhaust from Milltek or whoever. I've heard some great ones!
Well spotted...
Its a Turbo back Mongoose system, with a 200 cell cat.
Certainly gives the car a much better sound.
Its always been the a shame the ST is only a family focus with a big engine, with very few mechanical upgrades the RS benefits from.
I have also had Eibach stiffening/lowering springs fitted, to help it handle more like a car than a boat on the corners, as well as the Mountune remap/panel filter to bring it up from 225BHP to 270BHP.
Few cosmetic mods too
- Tinted windows
- symmetrical fog/reversing lights
- colour coded fog surrounds/grills
Also have the car protected with Paintsheild, would recommend this investment to anyone, who cares for their paint work.
