After using 2 local body shops with the sole purpose of getting rid of stone chips, 1) just sprayed over the chips, and used the wrong shade, the other was supposed to have put it all right made the biggest balls up you ever saw.
After 6 weeks in Cambridge Volvo body shop, and nearly a total respray, the car is now even better than the day it rolled off the line.
The crowning glory, I have had the whole front of the car including mirror cases covered with anti stone chip protection film by a local company for a fraction of the price quoted by others, not only that, but it was all cut on the car to perfection, trouble is its so good, you just can't see it, brilliant. Couple of pictures to show how very pleased I am. thumbup

Looking good there...

If you are going to keep the car for a while, then I'd recommend the investment of Paintsheild to prevent any more stone chips.

Actually, that what the thread is about, Paintguard Waterlooville is who I am speaking so highly about, as I have had the car since new, I think I'll keep it a bit longer now LOL. Still, just goes to show what a splendid job Steve made of it as you can't see the join!!

Sorry, I should read the thread properly.

Can you tell us a rough price, as certainly paintsheild is really good, but really expensive.

Thanks Matt, well pleased, incidentally, Cambridge Volvo don't just do Volvo's, any one wanting perfection in paintwork, contact Jon or Les they are both gems, nothing is to much trouble for them, and no arguments in minor snagging, its just sorted.
