944 s2 clutch pedal

noticed a clicking comin from the pedal when depresed about an inch,looked underneath where there is a plate holdin brake and clutch pedal which now is moving!! all the nuts and bolts seemed tight, anyone got any ideas??

I occasionally get a clicking/ groaning noise from the clutch pedal on both of mine. I cover the floor in newspaper then spray some aerosol grease on the swivel points and it goes a away for a few months. JZ Machtech had a look last service and found nothing wrong except a good lube.
