A diamond ring and a half!

Swiss jeweller Shawish are planning a £43 million all diamond ring, to be fashioned from a single rough diamond. The ring will be 150 carat in weight, F colour and vvs2 clarity. The ring is obviously bespoke, so heaven help the girl that gets this and then puts on/loses a load of weight....

We know diamond is the hardest substance but like anything hard isn't it quite brittle? Thats why they can shape it and chip bits off it.

Isn't there a risk of breaking it ?

£43M and it'll look like it came out of a cracker. I swear that once your income reaches a certain level, and you join the Stonecutters or whatever secret billionaire's club it is, as part of the initiation, they extract your "good taste" gland and put it in a jar.
