Its a pity the highways maintenance planners dont take advantage of this closure window to
plane off and re-surface the carriageway on the M3/A322 bridge - roundabout
The surface is a disgrace and it wont be long before it causes a colision or brings a bike rider off.
But there again it would be to simple to combine roads works on the same stretch of road.

They never seem to put any thought into road-works.
My route to work starts by driving west along Barkham Ride from Finchampstead - except that's being closed for 3 weeks. The obvious alternative is along Nine-Mile-Ride, except there are roadworks/traffic lights on there too. The 3rd choice, and it adds probably 5 miles each way to my journey is all the way down to the A327 and guess what? Yes they have just started road-works/traffic lights on there too! Well done whoever planned that lot!
Another alternative route for me would be to cut up Nash Grove Lane to Evendons Road but they thought of that too and closed Nash Grove Lane to stop people using it as a rat-run (probably because a local councillor lives down there). Thanks again guys, it's good to know you're thinking of us.
