How well do these work on cars?

Tha patio cleaner bits are too hard to work on cars and would definitely scratch them. The washer on it's own would be good and some of them have hoppers to fill with car shampoo too. With most of tehm, you can buy car brush's to connect on where the normal hose goes or you can even get rotating ones for some of them too.

Far better choice than a Karcher - the Nilfisk will last a lot longer.

Yeah I've done some googling/searching on here and the Nilfisk seems hghly recommended, whereas plenty have had Karchers go pop.

If I didn't already have a baby Karcher I'd be buying one of the Nilfisk packages.

The details write up on Amazon amuses me though as it says:

  1. Item Weight: 10 Kg
  2. Boxed-product Weight: 9 Kg
Is the box filled with Helium?

I bought one of the Karchers for 100 quid last year on offer and it's been OK so far - was useing clubcard vouchers so ended up even cheaper too.

One thing to remember is the one at 100 quid only has a high pressure and mid pressure lance which has to be switched. I was used to a variable nozzle which i miss a bit. May have to buy the Karcher variable lance
