windscreen washers

got a problem with te windshield washers not working. the head lights are working fine.

from what i have found i tcould be either blocked or motor on its way out, as it sounds louder than normal (compared to my 330ci).

its only a few days old so if i cant fix it easily then will give the garage i bought it from a call (as there are some other little problems) - however he seems hesitant to help via text now hes got the cash from me!

it has 3 months warranty so they should fix it, shouldnt they?

Depends on the 'warranty' they've included. Some omit lots of little things, and concentrate just on major mechanicals.

If you've got a blockage that could be making the motor louder anyway as it'll be straining. Start at the washer jets & work backwards.

If it's a E90 shape then it's a regular thing and common fault.

There's a gauze filter where the pump feeds the outlet tube. It will be blocked with gunge, usually caused by using cheap screenwash.
