Battery died on my keyfob today, went in the through the boot with the emergency method.
Then opened the door manually, all good.
Alarm was going off, and couldnt turn it off, immobiliser fob turned that off, but alarm kept going.
After a good suggestion off James Birkby, I tried holding the fob to my head, and to my surprise it worked.
Home now, so all fine.

Is their a way of turning off the alarm without the fob though?

I never even gave it any thought that the kefob battery night run out... maybe time for a preventative battery change.

(I generally don't bother locking mine unless I'm leaving it for a long time and out of sight, which is rare)

Fuses should sort it, unsure if the siren has a battery back up which would mean it still runs on.

I think Cat 1 dictates it will be battery backed up.
