Hard to get an idea just how big this thing is, and how heavy. Its a sharp vz-2000, and yes in between the red woofers, thats a full sized record deck !
Bad a$$ boombox smile

Its a conundrum. Kids with these. OR kids listening out loud with crap mobile phones.

I'd go with a boom-box

My first "HiFi" was the JVC PC-55, one of the best boomboxes of the 80s.

I've never seen one with a record deck before!!!

I had one of these, the poorer cousin to the 4 speaker one:

Not yours but the original 3D Super woofer was only a 3 speaker version. First time I ever saw one was group of dudes (who I later met at many a free party) were carrying it around Gloucester with Salt n Pepper "push it" and Whistle "only buggin" thumpin'. That was in the days of very hot school holidays, BMX and white dog sh*t!!(all at the same time)

Perhaps we were easier pleased then? I had several Ghetto Blasters. But I also had and still have one of these (or close to).

They were great. I can remember sitting in Lowestoft waiting for bus with friends watching TV...although there was sod all during the day in the '80s hehe
Major problem was the way it ate all the batteries in such a short space of time.

Another 3D super woofer fan here too!
