Been roped into taking the ankle-biter to Peppa Pig World for a couple of days smile Probably stop for 2 nights as coming from the Midlands.

Anyone recommend a quality 4 star plus hotel nearby (on the doorstep) with decent parking and wi-fi facilities. Must have bar and food offerings too lick

Post code of Paultons park - SO51 6AL

Cheers

eta - hope this is in the right forum (South Coast)?

Some nice places in the forest, would recommend limewood hotel, very nice and seemingly kiddy friendly; also worth looking at rhinefield house, again nice secluded location, but maybe not perfect for the littleuns.

Did you know... on that google maps link, type hotel in the search box and it will show you nearby hotels, with reviews, etc biggrin

The area around Brook and Bramshaw is nice, or Cadnam, though a bit close to the M27 if you dislike traffic noise.

Good tip Ian re typing 'hotel' into the search box - like that thumbup

Cheers matc, i had a ganders at Limewood hotel - did a date search and it returned a room at a bargain rate of...... £595per night!! Probably stretching the budget a tad that mate. Do they do finance?? winkhehe

Isimmo, do you think i asked for 'bar and food offerings' to be spending the day playing Daddy Pig. Nope. Me gonna drop missus and daughter off at PPW and chillax in that bar dude biggrin *

Bloody hell, it's nice but not that nice! Could always ask them if they do it over 3 years with a balloon! tongue out

It's a good shout from Carl above, the de Vere in s'hampton is spot on. I would rather stay somewhere in the forest though, some nice roads to go play in that GTS....oh and you can have a gander round meridian Modena in lyndhurst; it's similar to peppa pig world but for adults! hehe

Cheers guys. Bartley Lodge hotel and Rhinefield house both look superb. Some lovely accommodation in the area! Just need to decide on dates and check which hotel has accommodation to suit.

The Potters Heron at Ampfield near Romsey is about 15 mins away http://www.potters-heron.co.uk.

The White Horse Hotel in Romsey is about 10 mins away http://www.thewhitehorseromsey.co.uk.

The New Forest Lodge Hotel at Landford is about 10 mins away http://www.newforestlodge.co.uk/. It is adjacent to a very good Indian restaurant.

Peppa Pig world rocks...well according to my 5 year old anyway hehe and was tolerated for an hour by her older brother and sister too. As im sure youre aware its actually inside Paultons park which is a sort of mini Chessington/Alton Towers...i didnt go but my wife went with friends last week and had a great day. Also another thumbs up for Rhinefield...been a fair few times over the years and dont imagine many would be dissapointed by whats on offer there hth.

I've always got brilliant deals at rhinefield on lastminute.com and I can't fault the hotel, have been a few times.

Marriott Meon Valley hotel - any good?? I can get 2 days park passes for 2 adults and 2 children, overnight stay in the Marriott, breakfast and parking, wi-fi e.t.c. for £180 all in!! This is through Paultons short breaks offers. Seems a bargain providing the hotel isn't a sthole. Some cracking hotels you guys are recommending, but this deal above seems a no brainer. Considering we would be spending £121 on park passes for the 2 days anyway scratchchin

Never stayed there. However, there is an attached curry house run by an ex masterchef champ and a vinyard within spitting distance.
Not that I'm suggesting you spit out the wine, or advocating that the ankle biter should be left unattended in the hotel room.

Hi
New to the forum, I'm looking for a hotel close to Peppa Pig World which can offer interconnecting family rooms -had a look at the suggestions so far but none of them offer interconnecting rooms. Any more suggestions?

Two days? It's not Disneyland - they only have 7 rides. Fair play if you can manage two days though.

As an aside anyone noticed that Daddy Pig and Ross Brawn look remarkably similar?
