Went to goodwood on saturday for the Tvr Tag11 Track day and have to say what a Fantastic event it was too! thumbup a great show by the tvr club !

Just a shame the amazing and rare speed 12 (i think only two were ever built) ended up just stuck in the end paddock under a shelter and almost hid out the way ? and then was not on show the next day for the breakfast club confused Surely such a great and well known car deserved better 'public show' treatment

some pics from the day

I went along this morning for the Breakfast Club meeting and was surprised not to the Speed 12 nor, from what I could see, any of the Typhons. OK, I've seen them before, Speed 12 at Racing Green and Typhons at Le Mans but I was looking forward to seeing these more special ones.

Rich - good to make your acquaintance this morning and it was a lovely morning despite weather forecasts indicating otherwise! As I left just after 9.15am, I think there may have been a silver Typhon coming into Goodwood - could have sworn it was but I could be mistaken. Did anyone get a photo?

There were 3 Typhoons there today, 2 in the paddock and 1 in the car park.

The main issue was the transport arrangements and me needing to get home early on Sunday, otherwise S12 could have stayed for longer.

Apologies for the dissapointment. I requested the car be kept under cover hence the location, but I have to agree that S12 is best viewed from all angles to really appreciate the shape which wasn't easy. We did pull the car out for a few minutes later on Saturday which must have made for some great photos.. If anyone has some of these it would be great to get them posted up.

I'm not sure when S12 and perhaps even her sister will next make an appearance, but I'll give more thought to position next time.

All the very positive comments received on the day were very much appreciated and a big thanks to Richard Wright for all his help and assistance, especially the bottle of water... too hot a day for an adopted Yorkshire man.

Cheers

Spot on - hope you had a decent hoon back; plenty of police around on the return journey I noted!

I had to take it easy after Petworth as traffic was getting heavy. Did pass some old git on a short bit of dual carriageway and he seemed to take great offence as he couldn't stop honking his horn, fortunately I was in 2nd as I accelerated away from him at a roundabout and gave him max noise biggrin
