BTCC Plato interview rant

I only managed to see the end of race 2 and part of race 3.

Plato won race 2 due to honda taking themselves out on last but one corner.
Anyway clearly Plato wouldn't be over the moon by that as it's a win not from merit if you get my meaning.

However he ranted on about the turbo cars making it a joke. Can someone explain to me what's going on? I don't get it to me he won or would have finished third so beating all other turbo cars on the grid apart from two.

I like the guy seems good however I think he may regret the tv rant
