The Mücke/Turner car was in the wars quite a bit this weekend, the car came past me on Saturday during the qualifying race looking like this:

Yeah another bad weekend for Turner. Completed about 3 corners at racing speed before being punted off yesterday, today he didnt get to drive.

i understand mucke being angry and waving his displesure(in a safer position) but what on earth possessed him to ge so close? and you can see him line that up miles away to get as close as possible to do that, stupid, dangerous and not professional.

thx for the link to that youtube clip, was in the grandstand just before Hangar Straight and could not see any of it -- apart from a dust cloud rising after the Aston came to rest.

If Mucke is allowed to race again this season I for one would be shocked -- that was just atrocious driving standards and at the very least his sponsors need to pull the plug completely. (maybe he spends too much time on his X-box with new cars available whenever he crashes them!)

Hi there,

Had a great weekend at Silverstone despite a small bout of terminal man flu.
Really enjoyed photographing on Friday although the light was a bit to bright. Light was better on Sunday for the GT3's which I will post up in a day or two.

Heres some from the GT1's

1) JRM team shot, not easy when you have a track as big as Silverstone and only 16 cars

2) God those Ford's are menacing head on

3) This would look loads better with an F1 style crowd

4) A better bum than J'Lo ?

5) GTR is a true weapon this year

6) Ford chasing down the Sumo Power GTR

7) One of only two Corvettes out this weekend

8) This car should be nicknamed 'Trouble'

9) I really love the Ford GT's

10) The Fords were chasing the GTR's all weekend

Loads more on my site, with more being uploaded in the next few days: -

Ford's looked great but were woefully off the pace during the race.

Was there any errrrr racing? Or was it just a glorified procession. 16 cars? Most UK Championship's would have their RAC permits revoked with such a tiny grid size. Let's hope it improves, along with the driving standards, that Youtube clip is a shocker!

The quality of the photo's on this thread is <murraywalkermodeon> Fannnn-tastic <murraywalkermodeoff>

Have to agree with regards to the grid numbers. I much preferred the GT3 personally. I'm sure I read somewhere that GT1 is only a "maybe" next year on due to the lack of interest...

Finally got mine onto a PC, no processing or cropping of these though as I've had no time. Have not water marked them either but they're all fuzzy from re-sizing at upload anyway.

The rest of mine are available here and are not fuzzy from re-sizing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/16611753@N05/sets/721...
