Modular aluminium extrusion stuff

Not really sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes.

I'm after a short length of that aluminium extrusion stuff that is used generally to build exibition stands and the like. It's a box section with a track down each side that has loads of fittings to make all sorts of frames, tables, conveyor belts etc.

What's it called, and where can I get a short length (1-1.5m) and some fittings?

It's to make an adapter for my roof bars so is car related

Most common one is Bosch (Rexroth) aluminium profile. There are cheaper alternatives though. RS trade counters will sell it, though they are trade only so a business card or letterhead helps.
