It is, think they have the spec wrong in the ad though. I don't think the 1.8SE has an LSD. Also MX5s seem to be permanently on discount from list, so take the price/saving with a pinch of salt.

I had the impression that you only got the LSD on the 2-litre.

I bought a new Sport Tech last year and I thought you only got the LSD and the DSC with the 2l Sport Tech.

I had a look at mazda.co.uk and it looks like the 1.8SE does have DSC as an option. It doesn't mention LSD though.

Edit: I just looked at the "Car Configurator" again - LSD is mentioned for all specs of 2.0 but not for 1.8SE. It also doesn't let you build a 1.8SE without DSC & TCS.

It seemed like a good finance deal for someone.

What would be a good cash price for a new 2.0 sporttec?

Coupe or softtop? My price for a Sport Tech Coupe brand new 1st owner on the logbook started with a 16. Which, in hindsight, makes this offer look pants hehe

But, it was a different landscape a year ago.

Softtop.

Jesus local dealer just came back with a sporttec 2.0 soft-top for £18799.

I was offered a 20th anniversary edition mx5 (cant remember the exact spec) in white for just over £13k brand new april last year, the dealer owner had already bought the cars and struggling to get rid.

very good deal but if i was to get another 5 it would have to be electric hard top.

Weren't the 20AE specials based on the base spec 1.8 with a few trinkets thrown in?
