Easiest way to get to Houx?
Discussion
Hi all, just wondering what the best way to get to the Houx campsite is? I've been once before but for the life of me cannot remember how we found the site and am keen to avoid as much of the traffic as possible......sat nav will only get me so far! Unless anyone has a sat nav address for the site itself?
Cheers all, see you at the race!

Come in from the bottom end via Tetre Rouge under the track by the pub
the tram stop is on the left and Houx Annex and Houx is on the right.
Was thinking this sort of approach might be best i.e. dropping down the A28 and coming in via Ruaudin to try and avoid the worst of the traffic, any idea if that's a good plan?the tram stop is on the left and Houx Annex and Houx is on the right.

Really it depends what day you are coming. I would use the A28 to junction 23 in the direction of the circuit, then come off at the Tours exit, go round the roundabout and then either take the Tours route as I've previosly said to Family Village or else double back at the xit towards the motorway for 50 yds then drop right and pass under the Tertre Rouge bridge to Houx. This, though, |is more complicted than the route I've tried to indicate before.
If you are coming on the Friday, then all changes. The traffic from J23 is infernal, and it is better to go on to J24 at Parigné l'Eveque, and on leaving the motorway turn right on leaving the motorway to Bois Martin and then left to Ruaudin, then turn right at the roudabout at Ruaudin until you see the signs left for the camping just before the bridge over the dual carriageway.
