Oil pressure sender

Fairly sure I have a shot pressure sender, Shot off the scale and dropped off, now just keeps changing. No reading on the guage when sender disconnected. Oil just been changed and levels are good, so is engine temp and running great.

Thing is I head off for 2 week trip round Europe on Thurs starting with le Mans and can't get replacement in time. Since it's a serp and had new pump last year I'm sure all will be fine but when I switched off after parking just now the genine gurgled for 5-6 seconds realy loud which was probabily nothing but never had before.

Since I'm about to do over 3000 miles, any tips? and is it an easy swap? i.e. can it be done without draining the oil, and anywhere do them cheap?

Its an easy swop when the car is up and no need to drain the oil, you only get slight weeping. Cant help on the sourcing but good luck and bon voyage

No need to pay £65 - £75 from a TVR parts specialist.

I fitted a £16.00 one from Ebay & it works perfectly.
