Just read that Andrew Gold has died from a heart atack aged 59, far too soon for anyone.

Past 70's hits include Lonely Boy, Never Let Her Slip Away and Thank You for Being a Friend.

RIP, I enjoyed your music.

I found out yesterday too.

I hadn't realised he was the son of singer Marni Nixon, who was the voice of Audrey Hepburn in "My Fair Lady", Marilyn Munroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and Deborah Kerr in "The King and I".

My lasting memory of him is one of his album covers.

"Whats wrong with this picture?" has to be one of the greatest album covers of all time.

RIP. I first heard him playing with Linda Ronstadt way back when.
