Sunday, what a great day....

Well, Sunday morning came and at 08.45 we set off for a trip to Filey. The best weather for the run, amazing how everyone is in such a rush even on Sunday!!! The thing with a TVR is enjoying the ride, sound, look, power, etc etc. On the way back we stopped at Sutton Bank, the gliding club and as we had gone for coffee when we came back, the Chimaera had pulled it's own crowd. Don't you feel great when it's your car
Going down the bank a purple tuscan passed with urgency on the way up. We exchanged the customary flashing of headlights.
Whatever it takes to buy one of these it's worth it. I hope you all have a great TVR summer and most of all, enjoy the ride!

i spent both days of the weekend getting the chim prepared for le mans. replaced the door solenoid saturday along with a long list of other tidy up jobs and then sunday was dash off and heater cable replacement. Only a full service and clutch master cylinder to go....

oh, and added the PH livery ready for the trip

I guess its the age now where a few of the original moving parts are wearing out. cables snapping, solenoids knackering, master cylinder all getting a bit tired. Happy to throw money on keeping it A1 though. My TVR experience has always been once you start to let any bits that need doing slide, or delayed, the car gradually gets worse and worse
