I've had this on pre-order now for 15 years, off-and-on whilst Electronics Boutique changed several hands to end up as Game and 3D Realms sorted itself out .

And now finally an email from Game:

"I am delighted to let you know that your Preorder for Duke Nukem Forever is now being processed subject to successful payment ........"

Can't believe it after all this time . Oh well better late than never

Out Friday. However, unless my eyes aren't working properly, there doesn't seem to have been much fuss about this release date on here yet.

From what i have seen on the trailers, it will indeed include kicking ass and chewing bubble gum...

whith huge guns, 'innapropriate' humour, boobs, degrading of LAPD officers, more boobs, swearing, cigars, beer, yet more boobs, and general making me giggle uncontrollably for the length of the campaign

Its been some 15 years, it looks good, my GF has been warned my free time may disappear.

She thinks i am a good BF as i dont game a lot, but truth be told i just got out of it, Duke may get the flame rekindled, then its Killzone 3 i have to play, crysis 2 to finish, BF3 and MW3 later in year...i may be single again soon haha.

I saw the full length TV advert lst night. I saw boobs (albeit censored) and instantly wanted it. It may be 5 minutes of mindless fun, but I may as well get this while I await Carmaggedon 4 and Battefield 3.

There was a discussion about it on another DNF thread and a couple of chaps said they had played it at an event. They were the people who said it was awful. Thanks.

I found some reviews and had a quick read. Apparently, it's ok for a game conceived 15 years ago. Graphics don't seem too hot. I'll await the comments of people on here though and see what they say.

That's cool, no worries. I was excited for this too initially, but have been put off by what I have heard in other threads, so i'm hoping it turns out to be better in the end. I hope that the delay in releasing we have had for the last few months has given them time to sort out some of the issues.

I've got the first access demo. It put a lot of people off for various stupid (imo) reasons, such as the graphics being a bit old (although it runs on my oldish computer, so swings/roundabouts), some people don't like the regenerating health (I don't like running around looking for first-aid kits) and you can only carry two weapons at a time (there are piles of them everywhere though, and tbh I only use a handful of guns even when I've got a massive choice).


You can grab a poop out of a toilet and throw it around. BUY THIS GAME.
