Lego Games on PC

I used to play these games on the Wii but I recently bought a 360 controller for my pc and I have started to play these games on my pc ( much better capability than the quite frankly crap Wii ). I play the games fine then randomly the game will freeze and the screen goes black. Usually the game resumes no problem but every now and again it wont and the game completely crashes. Occasionally I have to restart the system. My problem is that I cant find any forums that deal with this, they all just talk about the 360 and ps3 versions.

I have posted this on a few gamer forums but I just wondered if any of you lovely PH folks have any clues ??
