E46 M3 CS - boot spoiler

Would anyone happen to know if the raised boot spoiler
that comes on some E46 M3 CS's can be removed and
replaced with the smaller more normal lip spoiler ?

not sure if its bonded on or screwed on (which I guess might
mean a replacement boot etc) ?!

Which 'raised boot spoiler' are you referring too?

As standard, the M3 CS should have the same lip spoiler as the normal M3.

Are you perhaps referring to the 330CS spoiler, or indeed the CSL spoiler? if the latter, it's integral to the rest of the bootlid (which is plastic incidentally). The CS spoiler can be removed I'm sure.

The Clubsport raised spoiler is bolted through the boot lid, so removal will leave holes that will require welding up/lead filling and repainting of the bootlid.

I was just trying to gauge how tricky / costly it might to put
it back to 'stock' and if the holes left mean a new boot etc..
