I advertised my Speedmaster on Pistonheads Classifieds this guy rings me up and leaves a message for me to ring him he wants the watch. I rang him back he said I will pay by Paypal now we did the deal knocking £25 off. I did say paypal will encounter fees to which he said Ok. He sends me £808 to my paypal account which charges £27 in fees. This guy then said send the watch I will send you the £27 in the post. Trusting as I am never had a problem on here or any watch forum i sent the watch. Guys gets the watch prompt service by me, he rings me, he is over the moon he loves it. Three weeks later still no money, even after two emails from me. Now I am looking through the Classifieds two nights ago and on page 5 my old Speedmaster for sale the cheeky blighter using my sales text and pictures. The man by is own admission is a respectable fine upstanding school teacher. A bit of a crook me thinks. Anyway think twice before you deal with him. Would it be acceptable to name and shame. I will name him John Dick Dick by nature as well

Sure it's the same guy selling it? Might be coincidental and is actually some scammer using your ad.

Am I missing something, he owes you £27 so sounds like the blokes a knob, but what is the issue with flipping a watch, some people on here are serial flippers.

I missed the sale first time around, and saw it readvertised by the new owner.
I guess I just assumed that there may have been something wrong with it, or a dodgy scam, ut it didn't seem to sell for ages.

You are missing that he was using OP's sales text and pictures. Couldn't even be bothered to do his own.
