Just caught up with this last weekends action. I love the regular Plato rants about turbo cars.

I used to watch it casually, now im an avid fan, even more so now F1 is the most boring pile of piss ever.

Anyway, which touring cars are your favourite from the years gone?

Mine;

Basically every single car they had from 1993 to 2000.

The Super Touring era was just absolutely superb in amongst an incredible period of cars in motorsport. F1, CART, WRC, GT Racing, DTM, Rallycross all had great cars in the 90's, was perfect for growing up with as a kid.

The Richard Longman 1275GT has always been a favourite of mine, as has the S1 RS Turbo's in Post Office colours, Rouse's Cosworth in Kaliber colours has to be my all time favourite.

Ahh, some lovely stuff in here smile I second the above about pretty much everything from the early Nineties up until 2000, absolutely brilliant cars and awesome racing.

Here's my totally unbiased contribution smile

Every time I see one of those (in race trim, obviously), I become 11 years old again. It's a wonderful sense-memory.

I concur with an above poster - the Super Tourers, I understand entirely why they were replaced, but they were the ones I grew up with, so still my firm favourites.

Not keen on the DTM 155.

I prefer the BTCC version:
