sorry to bring this old subject up but i have just been offerd a new set of AO32 yokos 205/60/13 for my westy as i have always ran 888s and only plan to keep the car to the end of the summer and a few track days are they any good or should i just splash out on new 888s. I have been told one good road blast will wear them to nothing

They'll be fine, but they will wear a bit quicker than the R888s.

Wear ratings are 100 for the R888s and 60 for the A032s - but if they're a lot cheaper then it's worthwhile.

Get them if they are cheap. Westys dont wear tyres too bad normally.

That's complete nonsense

A032Rs make a great road tyre but don't like greasy roads or deep standing water. Other than that they're brilliant and even better on track

I used to run them on my BMW 2002, in that size, and a set would last all year doing track days and probably longer on the road

The tyres you've been offered must be new old stock as they don't make a 205/60 13 A032R any more - you can only buy that size in A048R. I'd still buy them, though

I used to have that size on my BEC, they wore well ( 14 TDs and no road use), so if you want to sell them cheap, I would be interested in buying them.
