Hedingham Castle Supercar Meet

For the 3rd year, we'll be organising the Hedingham Castle Meet.



Confirmed date: Sunday 19th june 2011

Time: 10am to 4pm

Location: Bayley Street, Castle Hedingham, Halstead, Essex, CO9 3DJ

Entry cost for displaying supercars: £5 per car (includes all occupants in car)

Entry cost for public: tbc

Where does the money go: All money goes to to the Castle Restoration fund

Food: Bring a picnic or get some fast food onsite

Tower viewings: The Tower will be open for viewing. Entrance fee includes entry into the Keep

How many cars can park around the Castle: Around 120 cars around the Castle itself.

Please note, parking is on a first come basis. Earlier you come, the nearer you can park to the Castle.

want to come along to this with a fiend as I live in Babraham, Hedingham side of Cambridge. I only have an old Hyundai elantra. Do I have to hide at the back somwhere?!! ;-)

From my understanding the castle is open as usual, you'll just have to pay the normal entry fee.

There's parking on teh grass at the back of the Castle. Just turn left after the main gates.

I wouldn't recommend low slung cars to go there though.

Those of you that I spoke to today, fantastic display of cars.

If you fancy doing it again in 4 weeks remember the it's the motorshow is at the Colchester Carnival on 16th July so you could make it a weekend away if you are also going to the Classic Porsche event at Hedingham Castle on 17th (about 20 miles apart), email me ([e-mail]) if you want a spot reserved (and remember this is a charity event and is free to enter for all participants)

Finally, well done to Sy on organising the event, I know how hard these things are bring together.

Some really nice cars on show today, stayed dry (at least until 12.30am when I had to head off). Too much chatting, so only have one picture ~11am.
