Opinions/experiences of current petrol C-Class?

Hi all, I've been hankering after a change for a while, I find it difficult not to get bored with a car after a few years, irrespective of how good it is!
I love my 2008 E220 CDI and after looking at pretty much every other car available (and changing my mind daily) I keep coming back to Merc, however I don't like the fact that my current steed is diesel, and the petrol E Classes seem a bit underpowered as a 4-pot, or too thirsty if you go for 6 cylinders, which brings me nicely onto the C-Class, specifically the C250 CGI estate:
- faster than my current car, on paper anyway
- as economical as my current car, on paper
- lower road tax, servicing and insurance than my current car
- no diesel 'clack clack'
Does anyone own one of the new C250 CGIs:
-does the 200bhp feel ok, acceptable or wonderful in the C Class body?
-what mpg do you get?
-despite being a 4-pot does the petrol engine sound nice and refined?
-any injector problems on the petrol engined variants (I think it was only diesels that suffered failures?)

Thanks Michael - I've had a drive of my brother-in-laws C-Class estate but it's the slightly older 2009 C180k which didn't quite have enough poke for me and doesn't actually get very good mpg according to him.
The newer C250 CGI looks VERY impressive on paper and overlooked by most it seems. Compared to BMW's 3.0 petrol 325i the C250 CGI has the same 0-60, similar mpg and bhp, but around 40Nm more torque, despite being much smaller displacement and down 2 cylinders (albeit with a turbo!).
P.S. there's not a C250 CGI within 100 miles of me to test drive but loads down in England in case you're wondering why I don't go and drive one myself!

The new C250CGI is impressive, but if your hoping to get near the economy of your E220CDI it won't happen. Our demo has done 2700 miles and has averaged 31.7mpg over that time. I did 42 miles in it on Friday afternoon and tried my hardest to drive economically but the best i saw was 33.4.
The engine itself is strong and has plenty of power for 1.8. No injector problems
And the interior is wonderful, a real step up in quality

Those MPG figures I can live with, I only get 32MPG out of my E220cdi, which is awful considering the premium for diesel - I'm assured nothing is wrong with the engine but that's driving with the autobox in 'C', like a pensioner. Its done 36k miles so should have loosened up, perhaps just the type of driving I do means it doesn't heat up properly (mostly lots of journeys of 10 miles or less).
Does anyone else have the latest C250 CGI, perhaps run in a little more, that can comment on MPG, driving, reliability, niggles etc, surely someone must!
